1. Introduction

At Fetch it Frankie ("FiF"), safeguarding the privacy of our users is of utmost importance to us. We are dedicated to ensuring clarity regarding our privacy procedures, including our treatment of your personal data.

This Privacy Policy serves to explain our privacy protocols concerning the website https://fetchitfrankie.io (referred to as the "Website"), the FiF Chrome browser extension, and the web application accessible through your account (collectively, the "Services"). In the following text, the terms "FiF," "Company," "we," "us," and "our" all pertain to eSeek LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Fetch it Frankie.

The provisions of this Privacy Policy are relevant to various individuals, including visitors to our Website, registered account holders, Etsy sellers who have authorized FiF to access their shop, and collaborators or virtual assistants granted access by those sellers (referred to collectively as "users," "you," or "your").

It is important to note that while our Services integrate with third-party platforms such as Etsy and Printify, we do not assume responsibility for the privacy practices of those respective websites or services. We recommend that you meticulously review the privacy policies of any external platforms you connect to FiF. This Privacy Policy applies only to FiF and not to third-party websites or services.

By using FiF, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide directly, information we receive from platforms you connect, and information collected automatically.

Information you provide directly:

  • Account email address and display name
  • Authentication credentials (managed by Firebase Authentication)
  • Billing information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers)
  • Optional profile information you choose to submit
  • Communications you send to our support team

Information we receive from platforms you connect:

When you authorize FiF to access your Etsy shop or Printify account via OAuth, we receive:

  • From Etsy: shop identifiers, shop name, currency, shop policies, listings (IDs, titles, descriptions, prices, images, SKUs, inventory), orders and receipts (receipt ID, order totals, shipping costs, personalization text, transaction details, Etsy fee breakdowns), and limited buyer information necessary for fulfillment (name, shipping address, personalization).
  • From Printify: shop identifiers, product cost data, order statuses, tracking numbers, and fulfillment timestamps.

Information collected automatically:

  • Browser type, version, and language
  • Operating system and device type
  • IP address and approximate location (city/region only)
  • Pages visited, features used, session duration, and timestamps
  • Error logs and diagnostic data

3. Purposes for Collection of Personal Information

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Services, including displaying your orders, calculating per-order profit, generating reports, and syncing data with suppliers you have connected
  • To authenticate you and any Team Members you have granted access
  • To process payments for paid subscription tiers
  • To send service-related communications (account notifications, billing receipts, critical product updates)
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
  • To improve the Services and develop new features based on usage patterns and feedback
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or sell buyer information for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

4. Sharing Personal Information

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Services (listed in Section 5)
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from public authorities
  • To protect rights and safety, including to enforce our Terms of Service, investigate fraud, or protect our users and the public
  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy

5. Third-Party Content and Integrations

FiF relies on a small number of third-party service providers. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and are only permitted to use your data to provide services to us.

FiF does not serve third-party advertising and does not share your data with advertising networks.

6. Etsy Data and API Compliance

FiF accesses Etsy shop data exclusively through the Etsy Open API v3 using OAuth 2.0 authorization. We do not scrape Etsy web pages to retrieve your data.

FiF operates in compliance with Etsy's API Terms of Use. Your authorization to connect your Etsy shop grants FiF permission to retrieve, process, and display the specific data categories listed in Section 2, solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

You can revoke FiF's access to your Etsy shop at any time by visiting https://www.etsy.com/your/apps. Upon revocation, we will stop retrieving new data and will purge buyer personally identifiable information as described in Section 7.

The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. FiF uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

7. Buyer Data Handling

FiF processes buyer personally identifiable information (PII) only as necessary to help Etsy sellers fulfill the orders they receive. We comply with Etsy's API Terms regarding buyer data:

  • Encrypted at rest. Buyer names, shipping addresses, and personalization data are encrypted in our database.
  • Isolated per shop. Buyer data from one seller's shop is never mixed with, aggregated with, or exposed to any other shop.
  • No cross-shop aggregation. We do not combine buyer data across different sellers' shops for any purpose, including analytics, benchmarking, or product development.
  • Purged on disconnect. If a seller revokes FiF's access to their Etsy shop or deletes their FiF account, all buyer PII tied to that shop is deleted from our active systems within thirty (30) days.
  • Not used for marketing. Buyer information is never used to contact buyers, send marketing messages, or for any purpose other than helping the seller fulfill the orders those buyers placed on Etsy.

Sellers who use FiF agree, as part of our Terms of Service, to handle buyer data responsibly and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

8. Data Freshness and Temporary Storage

To comply with Etsy's API Terms of Use, FiF refreshes Etsy data within the required timeframes:

  • Listing content (titles, descriptions, prices, images, SKUs, inventory): refreshed within 6 hours.
  • All other Etsy content (orders, shop information, receipts, etc.): refreshed within 24 hours.

We use temporary storage solely to provide the Services within these freshness requirements. Temporary storage is not retained longer than reasonably necessary to deliver the features to which you have subscribed.

9. Cookies and Other Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Services and to understand how users interact with our Website. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: to keep you signed in between page loads and protect your session
  • Preferences: to remember your settings (such as theme or display preferences)
  • Security: to detect and prevent unauthorized access
  • Analytics: to understand how users interact with the Services so we can improve them (via Google Analytics)

You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or notify you when a cookie is being set. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the Services, including your ability to stay signed in.

10. Retention and Deletion of Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Active account data: retained while your account is active
  • Buyer PII: retained only as long as needed to provide the Services; purged within 30 days of shop disconnect or account deletion
  • Financial and transaction records: retained for up to seven (7) years where required by tax and accounting obligations (in aggregated form, without buyer PII)
  • Website analytics: retained for up to 26 months

When you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal or regulatory retention requirements.

11. Users' Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to deletion. Request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
  • Right to data portability. Request an export of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object. Object to how we process your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restrict processing. Request that we limit how we process your data.
  • Right to withdraw consent. Revoke your consent to data processing at any time, where we rely on consent as the legal basis.
  • Right to disconnect. Revoke FiF's access to your Etsy or Printify account at any time through those platforms' settings. This will stop new data retrieval and trigger the 30-day purge of buyer PII.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@fetchitfrankie.io. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.

12. Privacy Section for California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it
  • The right to request access to the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (FiF does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@fetchitfrankie.io. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide written authorization from you and will verify their identity before acting on the request.

13. Information Security Practices

FiF takes the security of your personal data seriously. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information.

Technical measures include:

  • Encryption in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher for all network communications
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data, including buyer PII and OAuth tokens
  • Access controls enforced at the database level via Firebase Security Rules
  • Principle of least privilege for internal access to production data
  • Regular dependency updates and security patches
  • Logging and monitoring for suspicious activity

No system can be made completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities within the timeframe required by applicable law.

14. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal that lets you indicate you do not want to be tracked across websites. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, FiF does not currently respond to DNT browser signals. We do not track your browsing across other websites, and we do not share your data with advertising networks for cross-site behavioral advertising.

15. Privacy of Children

The Services are business tools intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it.

If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@fetchitfrankie.io.

16. International Users

FiF is operated from the United States, and your personal data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your consent to this transfer.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice within the Services. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.

Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you must stop using the Services.
